Aerotropolis: The plan in 2002

Hamilton has big plans for its growing airport. But growth at the airport can’t take off until the basics are in place. A provincial highway — New Highway 6 — off Highway 403 to the west won’t be done until next year. Sewer, hydro, water and other services must go in. Like many other parts of the city’s economic future, the airport area is an emerging — not a present-day — cluster.
